 Regulateurs Europa are in the process of completing a major Power Management system for one of the largest sewage treatment plants in the UK.
Spencer Patmore is one of the Engineers from the “Industrial Team” and is seen here in front of the large mimic diagram that provides back-up control for the automated system. In addition to the mimic there is an extensive SCADA system, a Power Management system, an Interlocking system, AVR panels and upgraded controls for two existing diesel generators.
The design presented a number of technical challenges including the need to design the panels to pass through the limited access to the existing control room. The largest units are designed to swing trough 90 degrees on a special frame in order to achieve this.
Regulateurs Europa was awarded the order on the strength of past performance and the proven expertise of the Industrial Design Team.
