 Regulateurs Europa are now delivering the first dedicated Control, Monitoring and Safety systems for the new MAN RK280 Engines. These most powerful in class engines will be used to power a new generation of High Speed Ferries and the like.
The RE systems use their well-proven Viking 25 to control the electronic fuel injection and to carry out the monitoring/alarm functions but with full independence for increased security.
The package consists of an on-engine panel for engine management and monitoring plus a bulkhead mounted panel for application control and data communications. A touch screen display provides graphical information to the Engineers.
To reduce build time and to improve reliability all cabling is pre-made with circular connectors or encased in stainless steel rails.
