 Regulateurs Europa is 50 years old this year. Originally named Ardleigh Engineering RE started trading in 1955, although the “Certificate of Incorporation” shows that the name was registered in the previous year. The name was only changed to Regulateurs Europa after the acquisition, in the 1960s, of a governor business in Holland called Curtis Wright Europa.
In those 50 years the technology has changed dramatically but the underlying strength and understanding of how to control engines and power systems, has kept RE as a key player in the market. That underlying strength and experience is available today to provide control solutions and products for our customers.
While delivering state of the art governors and control systems RE is ever conscious of the need to maintain or upgrade the products that have been supplied in the past.
