Control System Replacement
The diesel-electric Long-liner CFL Hunter is powered by 4 x Yanmar 6EY18AWL generator sets. From origin, the engines were equipped with UG25+ electric hydraulic governors. Regulateurs Europa received the task from the vessels management to replace these governors with a more reliable and maintenance friendly solution.
All existing UG25+ governors were replaced by Regulateurs Europa’s DG 2800.14 Electro-Hydraulic Governor. For accurate speed measurement and control, an additional external speed pick-up was mounted on each engine flywheel.

Control System Replacement
The WD offshore jack-up vessel, is the largest vessel in Ziton’s fleet.The vessel is powered by six Bergen Engines C25:33 diesel generator sets. Originally, these engines were fitted with Woodward UG actuators controlled by Woodward 723+ digital governors.
As part of a modernization upgrade, both the actuators and digital governors were replaced by Regulateurs Europa (RE). The existing UG actuators were upgraded to RE type 2221 hydraulic actuators, while the Woodward 723+ governors were replaced with RE XIOS digital governors. In addition, new start-air boosters were installed.

Governor Replacement
The seagoing vessel ARM22 Klaas Adriana is driven by a Caterpillar 3606 DI-TA engine. This engine is controlled by the 1100 series hydraulic governor from Regulateurs Europa. The governor replaces the previously installed Woodward 3161 governor, which gave rise to increased maintenance costs and dysfunctions.
The HEINZMANN stepper motor drive board differs from our competitor's equipment in that allows analogue or digital speed setting.
